Under The Canadian Copyright Act any viewing or exhibition of a video/film in a public place must have a Public Performance Rights. Written confirmation of permission must be obtained from the copyright holder and kept on file.
Without obtaining the proper license, you or your organization may be in violation of the Canadian Copyright Act and subject to substantial civil and/or criminal penalties.
